Mechatronics Production Assembler (Electro-Mechanical)

Location: North Reading

Compensation: $18–$20/hr DOE

Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

• Contribute to the build of electro-mechanical and robotic systems in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
• Rotate based on demand between hands-on assembly and warehouse material handling—or support a hybrid of both
• Collaborate across production to ensure accuracy, uptime, and on-time delivery

Assembly

• Assemble mechanical/electrical components per work instructions, blueprints, and BOMs
• Prepare and stage parts, tools, and hardware; perform adjustments and minor repairs with hand/power tools

Quality & Documentation

• Verify builds meet critical specifications via in-process checks
• Complete quality, traveler, and production records; enter data into ERP/MES/inventory systems

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow PPE, 5S, and safety protocols; keep work areas organized and stocked
• Communicate clearly with peers and leads to achieve production goals

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for 7 hours per shift
• Strong attention to detail; able to follow written English instructions
• Computer-literate; accurate data entry
• Reliability performing repetitive tasks while maintaining precision
• Team-oriented with solid communication skills

Preferred

• 1 year of manufacturing/production experience
• Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management
• Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and traveler paperwork
• Knowledge of safe material handling and PPE requirements
• Use of handheld scanners and labeling tools
• Mechanical aptitude; proficient with hand and power tools

• Hands-on impact building advanced technology
• Cross-training across assembly and material flow
