Robotics Manufacturing Associate -- Assembly & Material Flow

• Location: North Reading
• Pay: $18–$20/hr DOE
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

• Can you follow detailed written instructions in English and keep documentation spotless?

Depending on the day’s priorities, you may concentrate on assembly, material handling, or both:

• Electro-Mechanical Assembly: Build and adjust components using hand/power tools, blueprints, work instructions, and parts lists
• Quality & Records: Perform in-process checks, meet critical specs, and log results in production and inventory systems
• Material Flow: Stage, scan, label, and stock components to keep operations running smoothly
• Safety & Organization: Uphold PPE, safety, and 5S practices; maintain a clean, well-stocked station

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lift 30 lbs; stand for extended periods (7 hours/shift)
• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to follow written English instructions
• Comfort with computers and precise data entry
• Consistency and accuracy with repetitive tasks
• Teamwork and clear communication

Preferred

• 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
• Exposure to ERP, MES, or inventory management platforms
• Skill reading work instructions, part drawings, and traveler paperwork
• Knowledge of safe material handling and PPE
• Experience with handheld scanners and labeling systems
• Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with hand and power tools

Start by mastering build quality and documentation. Expand into warehouse kitting and inventory accuracy. Over time, develop a blended skill set across robotics assembly and material flow that makes you central to hitting production goals.
