Overview:
Foot and Ankle Specialty Office - Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant who works well under pressure to join our growing team. Tuesday (7:45am - 5pm), Wednesday (7:45am - 12:00pm with high possibility to open up to 5pm) and Thursday (7:45am - 5pm). This is a position with growth potential for the correct, hard working, reliable self motivated, and dedicated individual who has an upbeat caring personality who is looking for a long term position. The ideal candidate will be reliable and have a strong understanding of the health care industry and prior experience in a similar position. Must be able to work on a team, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service skills and multi task efficiently. Most important, ability to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Patient charting via Practice Fusion EHR and EPIC EHR
- Patient rooming
- Taking/recording vitals accurately
- Wound Care
- Surgical dressing changes
- Draw Injections
- Assist physician with in-office sterile and non-sterile procedures
- Take X-rays
- Office and clerical tasks
- Obtaining authorizations
- Cleaning/sanitizing exam rooms/instruments
- Stocking exam rooms
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
