Foodz Catering is seeking an experienced Senior Event Service Coordinator to step into a key leadership role on our team. This position oversees event logistics after booking, manages the coordination team, and leads onsite execution for select events.
This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced catering environment and can balance client service, operational detail, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the Event Service Coordination team
- Participate in a weekly coordination meeting to review upcoming events lead by the Sales Director
- Distribute events based on workload and complexity
- Ensure consistency in timelines, documentation, and service plans
Event Coordination
- Serve as primary client contact after contract execution
- Confirm guest counts, menus, rentals, layouts, and timelines
- Prepare detailed service plans and staff notes
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Culinary, and Operations
Onsite Leadership
- Act as Event Lead for select programs
- Direct chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Serve as primary onsite contact for clients and venues
- Manage event flow and problem-solve in real time
Qualifications
- 4 years in catering, hospitality, or event management
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience interpreting BEOs and event rentals needed
- Valid driver’s license; Food Handler’s Permit required
