Duties
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) to align with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage procurement, logistics, and inventory control, ensuring materials are available for production.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and other production management software to track inventory levels, production progress, and order statuses.
- Analyze Excel spreadsheets and manufacturing data to identify trends, forecast demand accurately, and support demand planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production workflows using lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Monitor logistics inventory management to prevent stockouts or excess inventory, maintaining optimal inventory levels across all sites.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance teams for smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong technical proficiency with supply chain management systems such as SAP, Oracle, and ERP platforms.
- Expertise in demand forecasting analysis and master production scheduling (MPS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management systems, and logistics inventory management practices.
- Experience with production planning techniques including MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets using Excel spreadsheets and apply insights to improve production efficiency.
