VP of Operations
We are seeking a VP of Operations to work for an established Manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area.
The focus of this role is to increase productivity, strengthen accountability, and improve operational performance while preserving the systems that make the business successful.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and HR.
- Improve productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and overall operational performance.
- Drive accountability, develop leaders, and build a high performance culture.
- Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining proven operational systems.
- Oversee engineering and maintenance projects to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
- 8 years of manufacturing operations leadership.
- Experience leading multiple operational functions.
- Background in high mix, low volume, configure to order, or make to order manufacturing.
- Strong ERP experience including production planning, scheduling, BOMs, and routings.
- Proven success improving productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
Salary : $155,000 - $180,000
