Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols.
- Ensure the accurate operation of radiation therapy equipment, maintaining adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the radiation oncology team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Utilize healthcare informatics tools for data acquisition, storage, and retrieval, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent required.
- Certification in Radiation Therapy, in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
