You’ll drive the success of consulting engagements from pursuit through execution while leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional results.
What You'll Do

Lead & Execute Projects: Manage all aspects of consulting engagements including strategy, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholder communication.

Engage with Clients: Serve as a trusted advisor to utility clients, understanding their needs and delivering impactful solutions that align with business and regulatory goals.

Strategic Facilitation: Conduct workshops and meetings with senior-level clients to define priorities, build consensus, and develop actionable plans.

Drive Innovation: Anticipate challenges and deliver creative, data-driven, and results-oriented solutions.

Manage Project Teams: Build, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary consulting teams. Provide performance feedback, training support, and resource planning.

Deliver Financial & Contract Oversight: Oversee contracts, vendor/subcontractor agreements, scope of work, and budgets. Ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with terms.

Track & Report Progress: Communicate project status, risks, and milestones through clear and timely reporting to internal leadership and external stakeholders.

Expand Client Relationships: Identify opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, and long-term client partnership growth.

Champion Growth & Development: Contribute to the development of junior staff, project frameworks, and service innovation.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited institution; MBA preferred

13 years of relevant consulting or utility industry experience, including project and client management

Demonstrated success in leading consulting engagements and developing strong client relationships

Strong knowledge in energy economics, financial modeling, or utility regulations
-
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights

Superior communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex information to senior executives and diverse audiences

Expert-level facilitation, organizational leadership, and problem-solving abilities
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with industry-specific tools and data systems is a plus
