Transportation Project Engineer/Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Design:
- Lead the design and management of transportation and natural resource engineering projects.
- Involve NEPA permitting, engineering report writing, and construction management.
- Coordinate with engineering staff, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Use of Design Software:
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for preparing project documentation.

Technical Communication:
- Write technical reports, specifications, and correspondence for diverse audiences.

Collaboration & Approvals:
- Coordinate with government agencies, clients, and other professionals to obtain design approvals.

Team and Project Management:
- Manage internal teams and ensure projects are executed profitably.
Job Requirements:

Education:
- BS/BA in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation or natural resource project design.

Licensure:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Montana, Idaho, Washington, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

Project Oversight:
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Oversee planning, design, and construction of projects, creating construction documents, and handling construction administration.

Independent & Team Work:
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.

Strong Work Ethic & Engineering Understanding:
- Excellent work ethic and a solid understanding of engineering principles.
