What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Food Management Search?
Corporate office location in the Knoxville, TN area has immediate opening for a A/P Specialist who can handle working with a large volume of transactions. The company is growing rapidly and has several manufacturing sites across the U.S. Will be responsible for Accounts Payable processing, posting financial transactions, and communicating with various divisions and manufacturing sites. Also responsible for general accounting functions like journal entries, account reconciliations, and special reports.
Qualified candidates will have BS degree in Accounting (or similar) along with at least 2 years experience in A/P or A/R roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The company is in early phases of implementing a new ERP system corporate-wide.
