MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION • High School Diploma or equivalency. • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, in Music Arts or related field. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Music Arts or related field (preferred) EXPERIENCE • Five (5) years of experience teaching music to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings and the ability to implement California Arts Standards for Music. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS • First Aid and CPR Certificate • Proof of required education certificates • Valid California Driver’s License or ID Note: valid, unexpired certificates are required prior to first day of work Applicants must meet the minimum education requirements at the time of submitting an application.
