The Director of Spa & Wellness reports to the Vice President of Spas & Wellness. Responsible for the planning, directing, and managing Spa operations to ensure high quality and profitable products and services for Spa customers. The Director of Spa & Wellness has the responsibility to ensure the achievement of sales goals, business objectives, and profitability.

The Director of Spa & Wellness reports to the Vice President of Spas & Wellness. Responsible for the planning, directing, and managing Spa operations to ensure high quality and profitable products and services for Spa customers. The Director of Spa & Wellness has the responsibility to ensure the achievement of sales goals, business objectives, and profitability.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following
- Develop, monitor, and enforce the Spa’s policies, processes, and procedures.
- Establish a price schedule for services to maximize profitability of operations without reducing the volume of business and customers.
- Develop a wide range of beauty and fitness services for spa customers and oversee the marketing efforts.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision and performance of the Spa personnel.
- Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors to maximize relationships, profitability, performance, and service standards while maintaining the first-class condition of the Spa.
- Ensure department compliance with Fontainebleau Miami Beach policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepare and oversee the department's financial goals.
- He/she will also be responsible for overseeing and directing the product retailing operations at the spa
- Responsible for projecting a positive image within the facility, maintaining an atmosphere of cooperative teamwork that emphasizes customer service and satisfaction
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of four years relevant education and experience.
- Five years experience as a Director of Spa in a high volume, complex environment.
- Thorough knowledge of full range of spa services and therapies.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
- Effective leadership, supervisory, and management skills.
- Budgeting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, management, and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data.
