Responsible for preparing & serving cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for guests in a courteous and efficient manner; adhering to the Hotel Standards.

Responsible for preparing & serving cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for guests in a courteous and efficient manner; adhering to the Hotel Standards.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following
- Set up Bar according to BEO in absence of bar porter
- Assist Bar Porter in setting up bar
- Display appropriate product and glassware as instructed by captain
- Display appropriate décor as instructed by captain
- Verify product and quantities as appropriate for the function
- Be familiar with BEO and group information
- Ready for service 15 minutes prior to start time on BEO or as instructed by captain
- Communicate with guests to obtain drink order
- Prepare beverage as per guest request or department standard
- Keep bar clean and organized free of dirty glassware, trash etc.
- Do not display cash in any form on or around bar, passively soliciting gratuities
- Ability to function in a team or independent setting.
- Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Minimum 2 years related experience preferably in high volume banquet environment.
