Position Summary:
The Project Accountant is responsible for the accounting of all costs on the project to be developed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive Accounts Payable Invoices and ensures proper coding and signature authority.
- Review all accounts payable invoice batches from AP clerk for accuracy.
- Work closely with AP Clerk to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Compiles and reviews monthly Bank Draw with Senior Project Accountant to coincide with Title Draw.
- Review Share Point to ensure all draw documents have been uploaded.
- Ensure all contractor and sub tier lien releases are collected once payment is ready.
- Maintain the Notice to Owner Log.
- Ensure the timely preparation and review of bank reconciliations, maintaining strong internal controls and resolving discrepancies in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction Project Accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in a major in Accounting
- Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (f/k/a Timberline) experience mandatory

- Must have Excel knowledge (as well as Word/Outlook)
