We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing materials and products in the facility. The position involves loading and unloading goods and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely and efficient manner. This position also requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing materials and products in the facility. The position involves loading and unloading goods and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely and efficient manner. This position also requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect material, unload incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of deliveries against orders, and inspect for damage.
- Transport and load material, supplies, and finished goods with forklifts, skids, or other material handling equipment.
- Stock job transfers and fills job requirements.
- Prints pull sheets
- Inspects purchased goods for damage during the receiving process.
- Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping.
- Maintains & controls proper labeling and identification of purchased goods in the parts storage area.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/ Abilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Math and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Good attention to detail - ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and in shipments.
- Equipment Operation - Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks, and any other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of related experience required
- Must be able to read and follow written work instructions
