The General Merchandise (GM) Pricing Manager will oversee the development and execution of data-driven pricing models, lead cross-functional pricing projects, and mentor pricing specialist(s), while partnering closely with GM Sourcing teams to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage promotional pricing, discounts, and markdown strategies to maximize sell-through. Oversee price changes, ensuring accuracy across POS and online systems.
- Implement pricing tools, systems, and governance processes.
- Manage and mentor Pricing Specialist(s), providing guidance on best practices in pricing execution.
- Support corporate IT systems by monitoring pricing data flow and assisting investigations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with large datasets and retail systems.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and technical skills with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion.
- Experience with SQL, JDA-MMS, and Power BI is preferred.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
