Requirements
As a part time Wine Educator / Server, you’ll blend wine expertise with hospitality magic — helping guests learn about and fall in love with our wines while delivering exceptional service:
~ Be the expert on our wines, vineyards, and brand stories — and tell them with joy and confidence.
~ Pour and conduct engaging tasting flight experiences that are both fun and educational.
~ Provide exceptional service to every guest — with warmth, personality, and professionalism.
~ SELL! SELL! SELL! Use strong guest communication skills to drive Wine Club sign-ups and deepen member relationships.
~ Know the food menu & wine pairings like the back of your hand — and share your knowledge enthusiastically.

Who fits right in with the Folktale Family?
1 year serving or relevant hospitality experience
Passionate about wine, people, and sales (“sell with joy!”)
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Must be 21 (California law!)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & special events
Food Handler & Beverage Certifications (or willingness to get them)
What You’ll Get
$16.90/hr base tips averaging $35–$50/hr
