The Manager of Web/Digital Marketing Technologies is a leader responsible for driving the strategy and operational oversight of all digital marketing technologies, most specifically the website and email marketing platforms, in support of the firm. The role requires someone with the skills to leverage digital technology in legal, where the firm websites and search engine optimization are critical to success. This highly collaborative role is part of a team supporting the broader Business Development and Marketing team. It leads efforts to find innovative uses of new technology that differentiate the firm from its competition, effectively deliver key information to clients (current and prospective) and leverage data to enable strategic decision making, all providing a competitive advantage to the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as manager of Foley’s online website presence from a technology perspective manages vendors and technology behind our public facing websites. Our current web CMS platform is Wordpress and we use a wide variety of additional technologies.
  • Work closely with content teams and others throughout the firm to create and regularly update relevant digital KPIs. Similarly, work closely and broadly throughout the firm to ensure content stays fresh and meets those KPIs and ensure optimal results for SEO, site visitors, and more.
  • Manage functionality, data, reporting, and enhancements to the firm’s email marketing system.
  • Oversee cross-platform data integration (e.g. email, events, etc. into CRM) and usage in support of firm goals; in partnership with others on the team, bring together data from digital technologies to help the firm strengthen relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Stay informed on industry and technology trends impacting technology and help identify future initiatives through updates to the Marketing Technology roadmaps.
  • Using web, email, and other analytics tools, to establish, monitor, and regularly report on key metrics measuring effectiveness of the firm’s web properties, intranet and other marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Understand marketing technology platforms and assist with maintenance and enhancements to functionality and design, and with user support.
  • Oversee efforts to improve search engine optimization (SEO); create, execute, and report on strategic data regularly on a firm-wide strategy that includes results across leading platforms and technology such as (rapidly increasing in adoption) AI search tools.
  • Work collaboratively with the BD&M department, I.T. and others to help ensure data is integrated appropriately across numerous tools including: Passle, CRM (Dynamics), email marketing, Wordpress (our public website), and many others. 

  • Manage a direct report in support of the above.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required. 
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with marketing technologies geared toward generating revenue required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing process and business strategy with other leaders to maximize the value of technologies and systems.
  • Proven ability to inspire others toward common goals and objectives around the use of technology to drive revenue.
  • Experience managing technology projects, including demonstrated full lifecycle experience from problem identification through post go live review of technology systems.
  • Experience establishing metrics and KPIs to measure revenue impact and ROI of technology.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. 

- Milwaukee - $113,500 to $170,300

- Chicago, Dallas - $124,900 to $187,300

- Washington DC: $136,200 - $204,400
