Additional hours are possible to help cover when other technicians are out/on vacation. Youll mainly work at our St. Paul location, but wed love for you to be flexible and willing to help out at our Apple Valley office when coverage is needed.Please note: This position does not include benefits.What Youll DoYoull play an important role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and our patients receive top-notch care!Your day might include:Assisting our doctors with patient exams and proceduresPerforming technical workups, histories, and special testingConducting tests like refractions, lensometry, keratometry, OCTs, IOL Master, visual fields, and moreCommunicating with patients about follow-up care, procedures, and schedulingAssisting in minor surgeriesMaintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe workspaceHelping wherever needed to keep the day running efficientlyWhat Were Looking ForYoull thrive in this role if you:Have a high school diploma or equivalentCompleted JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician requirementsBring 2 years of ophthalmic or related experienceHave a solid understanding of eye anatomy, ocular diseases, and medicationsAre comfortable performing and explaining diagnostic testsAre professional, flexible, and a true team playerBring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a compassionate touchWhy Youll Love It HereAt Foley Eye Clinic, we care about our patients and our team like family.
