Folded Hills is a 600-acre working organic and biodynamic ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley, a place where guests come not just to taste wine, but to experience something they can't find anywhere else.
We're looking for a Hospitality Manager who leads with genuine warmth, runs a tight operation, and takes pride in the kind of guest experience people talk about for years. You'll oversee a talented front-of-house team, own the guest journey from reservation to goodbye, and work directly alongside ownership to grow what we've built.

What You'll Do
Lead & Develop Your Team
- Recruit, train, and manage tasting room coordinators, stewards, back-of-house staff, and hosts
- Deliver regular feedback - both constructive and celebratory - and hold meaningful performance conversations
- Build and maintain SOPs across all hospitality functions so the team can operate with confidence
- Foster a culture that feels like casual luxury: relaxed, genuine, and impeccably executed
Own the Guest Experience
- Oversee reservations and staffing to ensure every visit is seamlessly executed
- Work the floor alongside your team, you're not behind a desk
- Host VIP and private ranch experiences; support larger group events and seasonal programming
- Uphold responsible alcohol service standards while keeping the vibe warm and welcoming
Drive Business Growth
- Champion wine club membership sales and contribute to DTC revenue goals
- Collaborate with ownership and the management team on strategy, promotions, and community presence
- Assist in planning and executing private events and special experiences on property
Manage the Operation
- Monitor hospitality budgets, staffing efficiency, and revenue targets
- Track sales, reservations, and guest data accurately for reporting and planning
What We're Looking For
- 3 years in hospitality leadership, ideally in wine, luxury, or resort/ranch environments
- A genuine leader: someone your team will work hard for and learn from
- Organized and proactive, with strong project management instincts
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities in a working ranch environment
- Deep appreciation for authentic guest connections, not just transactions
- Excellent communicator across all levels: team, guests, and ownership
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the property for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine)
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience
