Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in property or facilities maintenance. You will handle routine repairs, troubleshooting, and general upkeep of residential units. Hourly pay is based on experience (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential properties
- Inspect units and facilities to identify issues or safety concerns
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests promptly
- Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems
- Complete and document work orders accurately
- Keep properties clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Communicate professionally with tenants and staff
- Assist with project tasks or supervising small maintenance jobs
- Handle minor painting and aesthetic repairs
- Be available for occasional after-hours emergency calls
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance or handyman experience.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have personal tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
