Production Associate - Pump Systems

As a Production Associate, you will be trained on how to assemble, test and service FogCo products. Mechanical, plumbing or electrical experience is a plus, but not required. Production associates will develop a proficiency in assembling, testing and repairing a our industrial high pressure water pump products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and service FogCo products according to engineering specifications and quality standards
• Interpret technical instructions and electrical diagrams as needed to assemble products.
• Keep detailed production records
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with other team members to meet deadlines and to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical interest and technical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Diagnostic and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Open minded, flexible, positive attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Must be able to clearly articulate technical observations and processes

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day, including over varied and uneven surfaces
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs.
• Frequently and repetitively stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 8 hours/day
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders or other high structures
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
• Able to receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing

Compensation

• $20-$26/hr starting dependent on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
