Position: Pre-K Teacher (Immediate Opening)Location: Hyde Park, MA (also convenient to Roslindale, Mattapan, West Roxbury, Milton, Dedham, and surrounding areas)Rate: $50-55/hourAbout the Role:Our agency is hiring on behalf of a partner school in Hyde Park, MA that has an immediate opening for a Pre-K Teacher. Teachers are responsible for the academic and social growth of their students, supporting a classroom of 17-18 students. Pre-K Teachers are supported in the classroom by a paraprofessional.Schedule:School day: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PMProfessional development: Wednesdays until 4:30 PMKey Responsibilities:Teach all core subjects, except Arts and PEMaintain high academic and behavioral expectations, providing support to ensure student successParticipate actively in coaching and professional development opportunitiesAssist with school programs and activities during non-instructional timeServe as a positive and collaborative member of the school communityQualifications:Bachelor’s degree requiredAt least 2 years of full-time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban education settingMust hold a valid Massachusetts DESE Teaching License for PreK.
