We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Line Lead / Team Lead to help oversee our fast-paced production lines on 1st Shift and ensure consistent product quality and team performance.
Position Summary:
As a Production Line Lead, you will be responsible for supervising production line staff, maintaining line efficiency, enforcing safety and quality standards, and supporting daily manufacturing goals. This position plays a key role in coordinating operations, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor daily operations of assigned production line(s)
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met consistently
- Train, coach, and support line workers in proper procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory teams as needed
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or process issues
- Ensure accurate batch documentation and compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate shift updates, issues, and achievements to supervisors
- 1st Shift 8 am- 4:30pm (M-F) - some Saturdays
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior leadership or line lead experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with personal care or cosmetic product manufacturing is a plus
- Knowledge of GMP standards and production safety protocols
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output setting
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
