Job description
A minimum of the following will be required:
• Licensed in the State of Texas as one of the following: LPC, LPC-Associate (LPC-A), LMSW, or LCSW.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Ability to provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
• Experience treating clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and Texas state regulations.
A minimum of the following would be preferred:
• Two years of experience providing psychotherapy or behavioral health counseling.
• Experience providing telehealth or virtual therapy services.
The Mental Health Therapist must have a strong clinical background including experience in interviewing and therapeutic techniques, human development, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and mental health recovery models. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, family dynamics, and behavioral health treatment approaches is preferred. Experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders is required.
Must have leadership ability to support the successful accomplishment of the organization’s clinical and operational goals.

Responsible and able to exercise a high level of judgment, accept supervision when required, maintain strict confidentiality, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to mental health services.
Most importantly, the applicant must have excellent customer service skills and the ability
to provide engaging and clinically appropriate therapeutic sessions and group activities when applicable.
Job Type: Part-time (with potential to transition into a full-time position based on organizational needs and performance)
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per completed session
