A full-time Food Service Manager is needed to oversee daily food service operations, ensure safe food handling, manage inventory and purchasing, lead staff, and support meal preparation for students, staff, and special events. This role includes administrative duties such as budgeting, scheduling, and completing required reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and adjust menus for daily service and events
- Order food, supplies, and equipment; verify deliveries
- Oversee food prep, safety, and sanitation standards
- Conduct facility/equipment inspections
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Monitor cash handling, balance registers, prepare deposits
- Assist with cooking, serving, and cleaning as needed
- Coordinate maintenance and equipment repairs
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
- Some evenings/weekends required based on Café needs
- Primary location: Warner Robins; occasional travel/split shift at Macon campus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation and service
- Completion of an accredited food manager training program
- Associate degree
- Supervisory experience in food service
