About the Role:

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our hospitality establishment, ensuring that all aspects of service delivery meet the highest standards. This position is responsible for driving profitability through effective cost control and strategic project sales initiatives. The General Manager will lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance. Additionally, the role involves managing food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining exceptional guest experiences. Ultimately, the General Manager will be accountable for the overall financial performance of the establishment, including P&L management and food cost optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
• Strong understanding of the P&L and effectively managing expenses.
• Proficient in revenue management techniques and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with corporate sales and large-scale event management.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments function smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff to enhance team performance and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
• Oversee the night audit process and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
• Maintain a strong presence in the hotel, interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and enhance brand visibility.
• Utilize phone etiquette skills to handle guest inquiries and reservations efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit.
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Frequently required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds.
