We are seeking a dedicated RN Staff Education/Infection Prevention Specialist to lead clinical training efforts and ensure our infection control practices exceed regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate staff education programs to support clinical excellence and compliance
- Monitor and lead infection prevention and control initiatives in alignment with CDC, CMS, and state guidelines
- Collaborate with department leaders to assess training needs and deliver effective in-service education
- Conduct audits, analyze trends, and implement strategies to reduce infection risks
- Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing and support staff
- Current RN license (PA, in good standing)
- Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training preferred or willingness to complete upon hire
- Previous experience in staff education, training, or infection control in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
