Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Develop and implement menus, budgets, and food service programs that meet the needs of our residents
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory, ordering systems, and resident profile/production systems
- Provide training to food service staff on new procedures, policies, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
- Advanced degree preferred
- ServSafe Certified Required
- One year of management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of inventory, ordering systems, and resident profile/production systems required
- Experience in all duties in the dietary department, including scheduling/education/discipline, dietary aide, and cook duties
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
