Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Escrow Assistant located in Whittier, CA. The Escrow Assistant will support the Escrow Officer in managing escrow transactions, including document preparation and management, communication with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring all real estate closings are handled efficiently. The role also entails providing excellent customer service, assisting with notary tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of escrow documents and agreements.
- Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
- Manage timelines and ensure all parties are informed of progress.
- Conduct title searches and verify property information.
- Maintain accurate records and files for all transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the escrow process.
- Support the escrow officer with various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an escrow assistant or in a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic escrow software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries with professionalism
- Notary Public certification is a plus, along with experience in notarizing documents
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training is a plus
