Marketing/Social Media Intern

The Marketing & Social Media Intern will assist in developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, supporting marketing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics. This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, influencer outreach, and brand storytelling within the consumer electronics and creative industries.  Oversee local travel with onsite promotional team 

• Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.

• Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.  Encourage likes on website items purchased.   

• Research social media trends, viral content, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities.

• Support community-building initiatives and audience engagement campaigns.

  Content 

• Create compelling social media posts, captions, graphics, and short-form videos.

• Assist with photography and videography projects featuring products, promotions, and behind-the-scenes content.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and campaign strategies.

• Help maintain brand consistency across all digital channels.

  Marketing

• Assist with email marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and product launches.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

• Support influencer outreach and partnership programs.

• Help coordinate marketing events, product demonstrations, and special promotions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, content creation, and consumer technology.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with major social media platforms and content management tools.

• Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design/video editing tools is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.

• Basic understanding of social media analytics and SEO principles.

• Photography, videography, or graphic design experience.

• Interest in cameras, audio equipment, technology, or content creation.
