Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Business Analyst who is comfortable engaging directly with both clients, internal FMR personnel, and has hands-on project management experience. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and internal teams to elicit, define, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear and concise user stories, wireframes, and workflow diagrams.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Support the Product Owner in prioritizing the product backlog and maintaining product roadmaps.
- Conduct gap analyses and identify areas for process improvement and automation.
- Assist in creating test plans, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating deliverables.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews in Agile environments.
- Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly across different audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in a software development or IT environment.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills with confidence in leading discussions
- Strong understanding of Project Management
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.
- Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
- Must be proficient in SQL
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and web technologies.
- Experience with B2B SaaS products or custom software development projects.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, CBAP, Agile BA).
