What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Door Installer position at FMG Enterprises of New England. Inc?
We are a General Contractor with a specialized commercial maintenance and door division, established in 2011. We are hiring both Senior and Junior Door Technicians depending on experience level.
- Based in Lewiston, ME
- Active crews in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island
- Projects range from small to mid-size construction to nationwide retailer maintenance and door installations
Scope of Work Includes:
- Commercial door, frame, and hardware installation
- Repairs and troubleshooting
- Work across multiple industries including big-box retail
Schedule:
- Full-Time: 4 days/week (10-hour days)
- Part-Time: Flexible / As Needed
Travel & Work Environment:
- Daily travel required. High concentration central and southern Maine
- Company vehicles provided (including transportation to job sites)
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial doors, frames, and hardware
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work nights when required
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule (Senior Techs)
- Must have your own hand tools (company provides larger tools/equipment)
