Construction Planning Assistant
Location: Sioux Falls, SD | Full-Time | On-Site Only

As our business grows, we are hiring a Construction Planning Assistant to support our estimating and coordination teams in a full-time, in-person role.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $63,000 – $84,000 based on experience
- Quarterly performance bonuses

Role Overview
This is a hands-on role that supports construction planning, estimating, and project execution. Ideal for someone with experience in commercial construction who enjoys working with both numbers and people. Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing construction plans and specifications
- Performing quantity takeoffs and preparing cost estimates
- Assisting with bid documentation and planning schedules
- Communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Supporting budget tracking, material procurement, and project timelines
- Organizing and maintaining internal documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project coordination, or planning
- Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and general office software
- Experience with construction tools like Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time onsite
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Office-based with occasional visits to local job sites
- W-2 position (not remote or contract work)
