This position is responsible for maintaining essential rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors — the backbone of our operations.
Job Duties:
The task will include weekly performance checks, monitoring oil levels, temperatures, vibration readings, and inspecting for leaks on mechanical seals. This position will be required to keep the equipment / the sites clean, organized, and running at peak performance. It is a requirement to manage maintenance scheduling and tracking. As well as, maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies, and lead contractors on-site when needed. All work must be performed with a top level of accuracy and attention to detail around safety. This position must comply with all company, state, and federal regulations to stay within legal compliance.
Competencies:
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors.
- Operational Checks: Perform weekly inspections of pump operations, including monitoring oil levels, temperature, vibration readings, and checking for mechanical seal leaks.
- Site Upkeep: Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Keep maintenance schedules and tracking systems up to date to support efficient operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies required for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Contractor Oversight: Lead and coordinate contractors during maintenance and repair activities as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures.
Work Environment:
- The nature of this position and its schedule will require overtime out of regular shift schedule.
- This position does require the ability and willingness to be on call 24/7, as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 3 years of mechanical experience on water pump-diesel engines and gas compression is required.
- Ability to maintain and repair multiple types of pumps including centrifugal, positive displacement, multistage centrifugal, progressive cavity, and peristaltic pumps is required.
- Perform preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and mechanical seal replacements is required.
- The ability to maintain and repair various rotating equipment including gearboxes, mixers, fans, air compressors, electric motors, and internal combustion engines is required.
- Proficiency in Laser Shaft Alignments is required.
- The ability to understand pump curves and manuals is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and a general understanding of oil and gas field operations, including basic natural gas compressor knowledge is required.
- A valid US driver’s license is required.
- Authorization to work in the US is required, as this position does not offer sponsorship.
- Formal training or certification in maintenance prevention, compressor seals, etc. is preferred.
- Formal training or certification in Laser Shaft Alignments is preferred.
- Relevant oilfield experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of power generation is preferred.
- Experience with pumps, welding, and using automation is preferred.
Salary : $32 - $45
