Job Summary The Land Systems & Reporting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration, integrity, optimization, and reporting of land related data and systems across Flywheel Energy’s asset base. This role serves as a strategic leader within the Land Administration organization, driving data governance, process standardization, reporting automation, document management initiatives, and cross functional system integration efforts that support a rapidly growing acquisition driven organization. This position partners closely with Land, GIS, Division Orders, Accounting, Operations, IT, and Digital teams to ensure land data is accurate, scalable, and actionable across the enterprise. The Supervisor will lead initiatives focused on automation, reporting modernization, AI enabled process improvements, and enterprise data consistency while supporting operational efficiency and informed business decision making. Key Responsibilities
- Lead administration and oversight of land related systems, databases, reporting tools, and integrated workflows across the organization.
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPI metrics supporting Land, Land Administration, GIS, Accounting, and Executive leadership.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, QC/QA processes, naming conventions, and master data management principles across acquired and legacy assets.
- Partner with GIS, IT, Digital, and third party software vendors to improve integration, automation, and functionality across land systems and applications.
- Manage enterprise land reporting processes including ownership, lease obligations, expirations, payments, regulatory tracking, acreage reporting, and operational analytics.
- Oversee acquisition onboarding and data integration efforts, including normalization, validation, and migration of land, lease, ownership, and document data.
- Identify and implement process improvements focused on automation, efficiency, scalability, and reduction of manual workflows.
- Support implementation and optimization of document management systems, including metadata standards, retention policies, indexing, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop real time reporting and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting platforms.
- Monitor data integrity across systems through recurring audits, exception reporting, and issue resolution processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities to improve stakeholder communication, reporting accuracy, document retrieval, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor analysts and support personnel within the Land Administration systems and reporting function.
- Coordinate user training, documentation, SOP development, and adoption of new systems and processes across the organization.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital tracking initiatives through standardized reporting and financial data coordination.
- Serve as a cross functional liaison between Land, Accounting, GIS, Operations, Legal, and IT to ensure alignment of systems, reporting, and data strategies.
- Support internal and external audit requests, compliance initiatives, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, software enhancements, reporting technologies, and best practices in land administration and data management.
