The bartenders primary role is to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It is also their responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, restock beer and wine, replenish bar caddies, prepare ingredients (such as syrups and compotes), andmost importantlyensure guests have a pleasant experience.
Bartenders will be held accountable for cash and credit card transactions, as well as the bar drawer. They may also assist with cocktail creation and innovation. Bartender Job Responsibilities
- Provide a pleasant experience to customers
- Serve drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area
- Ensure the proper detail and presentation of each beverage or order
- Prepare ingredients by following recipes, labeling and dating items, and rotating stock using the FIFO method
- Check in beer, liquor, and wine orders when a manager is not presentensuring each product on the invoice is accounted for
- Demonstrate strong leadership in high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm demeanor

- Weekly Cleaning Duties
- Opening Checklist
- Listen to customer concerns, suggestions, and feedbackand involve management as needed to ensure guests feel heard and appreciated
- Participate in or contribute to continuing education on spirits, beer, and wine
- Perform other duties as assigned
