We are currently seeking a talented Associate / Senior Associate to join the Infrastructure Investment Team of a leading independent European private markets platform.
This role, based in Munich, offers the opportunity to work across the full investment spectrum — primary, secondary and co-investment strategies — within the infrastructure asset class. The firm manages several multi‑billion‑euro private markets programmes for institutional investors and has built a strong track record over more than a decade in infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full investment cycle: sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of infrastructure fund managers and direct opportunities across Europe and OECD markets
- Build and maintain financial models, return analyses and scenario cases for infrastructure primaries, secondaries and co‑investments
- Prepare investment committee materials, including memos, presentations and supporting analyses
- Contribute to portfolio construction, performance monitoring and reporting for diversified infrastructure programmes
- Support client communication and fundraising activities for new infrastructure vehicles
Desired Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in private markets, investment banking, transaction advisory or strategy consulting with focus on infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial modelling (DCF, LBO-type, project or asset modelling)
- Exposure to infrastructure or real assets (e.g. energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities or social infrastructure) is a strong advantage
- Excellent academic background in finance, economics, business, engineering or a related field
- Proactive, detail‑oriented and reliable team player with strong communication skills
- Fluency in English and German
