ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and assisting chefs in meal preparation. This position requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
• Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas.
• Follow kitchen procedures and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, boiling, and sautéing under chef supervision.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Store and label food items properly to prevent spoilage.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.
• Familiarity with knife handling and food safety protocols.

Salary : $16 - $19
