ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Implements and manages the strategic marketing plan for Flying Horse Resort & Club and its associated hospitality businesses. This role involves evaluating market trends and competitive research, managing all marketing communications efforts, including advertising, website management, social/digital marketing, and public relations programs.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the resort's goals and objectives. This includes understanding the business side of the hotel and hospitality industry, specifically budget and financial management.
• Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the resort's brand image through various marketing initiatives, including onsite and offsite events and tradeshows. Monitor online brand reputation and respond to customer reviews.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that could benefit the resort.
• Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and oversee advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital and traditional media.
• SEO Knowledge: Both On-Site and Off-Site SEO are critical for increasing online visibility and attracting potential customers.
• Web Content & Social Media Management: These are key channels for engaging with customers and promoting the brand.
• Public Relations and Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with local businesses, online influencers, media, and travel writers to enhance the resort's reach and reputation. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their continued loyalty.
• Creative & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze marketing data and use it to make informed decisions. Generate innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:   

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. 
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. 
• Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Word, Excel, CRM systems, and content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial. A successful Marketing Manager should be able to articulate the brand's vision to the team as well as communicate effectively with clients and partners. The ability and desire to build strong internal and external relationships are essential. Problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure are critical skills for this role. The Marketing Manager will successfully integrate the marketing efforts into the daily operations of the resort by fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:  

Engage with the leadership team, corporate staff, office staff, outside agencies, and vendors in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing efforts and image of Flying Horse Resort & Club.

Manages and oversees internal and external marketing support team members.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
