Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, inquiries, and transactions to enhance their shopping experience
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including cash drawer handling and cash management
- Handle retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, returns, and financial software entries with precision
- Support retail lending activities by assisting with loan processing and loan collections when applicable
- Maintain organized records of sales, data entry logs, and transaction details to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and guiding customers through banking or financial services offerings
- Support store operations by managing retail store experience tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, and cleanliness
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software data entry
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus; experience in loan processing or collections is advantageous
- Ability to operate cash registers efficiently, including 10 key typing and cashiering functions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts and cash handling procedures
