Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Public Relations Intern, located in Austin, TX. The Public Relations Intern will assist in drafting press releases, coordinating media relations efforts, and collaborating with the team on strategic communication plans. Responsibilities will also include building relationships with media outlets and contributing ideas for campaigns to enhance the company's public image. The intern will play an integral role in supporting the Public Relations team in its daily functions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Public Relations and Media Relations
- Proficiency in drafting Press Releases and creating strategic communication plans
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in media campaigns is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
