Role Description
The Children’s Pastor/Children’s Director is a full-time, on-site role, based in Flushing, MI. The individual in this position will oversee the spiritual development, discipleship, and overall pastoral care of children and their families. Responsibilities include leading children’s ministries, teaching biblical principles, planning engaging programs, equipping and mentoring ministry volunteers, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment for growth in faith.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Pastoral Care, Pastoral experience, and Biblical Studies
- Proven leadership abilities in Ministry Leadership and Team Building
- Passion for working with children and families in a church setting
- Ability to develop, lead, and work with a ministry team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Theology, or related field preferred
