Regional Product Sales Specialist – EXCEL Foundry & Machine, NAMER Mining
Location: Pekin, Illinois or U.S. (with 75% travel)
About the Role
Product Specialist in Mining, North America. The Excel product specialists team works closely with FLS Mining team to convert opportunities across the multi-brand installed base. This includes training, sales visits, comminution and undercarriage audits, and any additional support needed.
This role is ideal for a technically strong service sales professional who understands crushing equipment, enjoys working directly with customers, and can collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
Grow the Business
- Develop and expand the EXCEL parts business with primary focus on US by partnering with the FLS sales team
- Execute the go-to-market strategy established by the product head by driving accountability and focus with the FLS sales team partners
- Identify and improve any issues identified by sales in our market support
Sales & Financial Accountability
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Identify market needs based on customer and sales feedback
Channel Collaboration
- Work closely with North American sales team and customers to develop service opportunities and win orders.
- Support and enable site account managers and customers with technical guidance, service offerings, and sales support.
- Serve as the escalation point for spares opportunities and customer issues.
Technical & Commercial Support
- Support FLS sales with internal and customer training
- Market pricing and installed base feedback
- Frequent site visits to maintain market presence
- Identify Excel portfolio growth needs based on customer and sales feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, sales, supply chain (SIOP inputs), and finance to ensure a smooth process from quotation through job completion.
- Act as the commercial link between customers, site account managers, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical and commercial background with experience supporting the mining industry
- Proven experience in service, aftermarket sales, teamwork, and presentation/training skills
- Strong understanding of crusher components, wear parts, and extraction equipment
- Comfortable taking ownership while thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer and distributor sites as needed.
