What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Technician position at Floyd's Inc?
Floyd’s Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team.
We offer a supportive, non-competitive work environment, primarily use OEM parts, and are committed to high-quality workmanship.
Pay is negotiable and based on experience. Willing to discuss relocation assistance.
Responsibilities include repairing and replacing body damage on all makes and models of vehicles.
Knowledge of vehicle repair processes.
Remove and replace damaged parts.
Repair body panels. Weld panels.
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
File, grind, sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
Prepare vehicles and parts for painting and re-assemble after painting.
Perform quality repairs.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- I-Car and/or ASE certification a plus
