What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barber - Stylist position at Floyd's 99 Barbershop?
Our Vibe
This is not just a job, it is a career with style.
At Floyd's 99, we blend old-school barbershop energy with a modern edge. We celebrate individuality, creativity, and self-expression for both our team and our clients. Whether you specialize in fades, classic cuts, color, or everything in between, there is a chair here for you!

- Consult with guests to match the look to their vibe and lifestyle
- Build repeat business through great service and genuine client relationships
- Work smoothly with the team
You bring:
- Active Barber or Cosmetology license (South Carolina)
- Comfort in a fast-paced, team-first environment
- Customer-focused mindset, upbeat attitude, and solid work ethic
- Available Friday, Saturday or Sunday 16-23 hours a week
If "barber" is more than a title to you, let's talk-apply and claim your chair.
Your Daily Groove
You walk into an energetic shop, trade quick hellos, and your chair starts filling up. Consults are snappy but real-clients want bold, clean, and camera-ready. Between lather neck shaves, shoulder massages, and that "nailed it" moment in the mirror, you'll hear a lot of "same time next time?" You'll also squeeze in skill-building-new techniques, sharper details, better flow-because a great barber never stops leveling up.
It's fun, it's fast, and the end-of-day vibe is: tired hands, happy guests.
