Hours: Fulltime (0.9 FTE, 72 hours per biweekly pay period including every third weekend) – Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with 30-minute meal break

Floyd County Medical Center is seeking registered nurses to join our team!
Position Overview: The Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the safe and effective care of medical surgical patients. Provides nursing care and treatment of the adult, geriatric and pediatric populations based on the nursing process using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for providing education to patients and families. Communicates with nursing staff, physicians, providers, and other departments to ensure that patient needs are met. Uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care.
Nurse will start in the Medical/Surgical Unit with the opportunity to cross-train to the Birth Center and/or Emergency Department if desired.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa
- NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
