What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Engineering CoOp/ Intern position at Flowserve?
Role Summary: The QA intern will assist in the inspection of valve electronic components, interact with cross-functional teams, and evaluate quality processes.
Work schedule: Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm.
Location: Springville, UT.
Internship starts in June 2026 and will last 4 months.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate quality processes and systems
- Ability to gather, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Quality inspection of electronic components
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist with returned materials, look at incoming inspections for electronic boards
- Interact with suppliers when an issue arises
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Pursuing an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work fulltime at our Springville site.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled with Microsoft applications.
- Willingness to learn.
Preferred skills/ experience:
- Background in quality department, conducting RCA, inspections.
- Experience working with electronic components.
- Motivated by both personal growth and the potential to take on moreresponsibilities in the future.
