We’re seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Support Specialist to join our team at a dynamic manufacturing facility. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving technical challenges, and values face-to-face collaboration with end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end-users across the manufacturing site
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with workload overflow from centralized IT support staff
- Set up and maintain hardware (PCs, printers, mobile devices) and software systems
- Deliver employee training on IT tools, systems, and security best practices
- Support network connectivity, device configuration, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technology operations
- Travel occasionally to other company sites for support and training needs
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications
- Experience supporting hardware, peripherals, and basic networking
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
Preferred Skills
- Spanish
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Basic proficiency with Windows environment including Windows 11, M365 applications, and desktop troubleshooting
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft MCP are a plus
