3rd Shift - Process Technician: Plastic Injection Molding

What you will be doing:
Flow-Rite’s Injection Mold Process Technician will be an individual who produces quality molded products to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mold and material changes as required.
- Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to ensure part conformity and quality.
- Monitor and prepare support equipment as needed.
- Perform machine start-up, shut down and processing changes.
- Perform process set-up on various types of molding machines.
- Communicate with the quality department on all non-conforming parts and improvement suggestions on process control.
- Ensure machine cycle times and set-up parameters are accurate.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assures housekeeping standards are met.
- Maintain shift process logs.
- Maintain Motan system as needed.
- Maintain all needed documentation as part of daily tasks including but not limited to, process set up sheets, downtime tracking, production performance, scrap results and required maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot processing problems.
What you bring:
- 5 years of Process Technician experience
- High school diploma and/or GED preferred
- Experience in operating a forklift truck and overhead crane
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong analytical and communication skills with proven ability to work within the framework of a team
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic atmosphere
